Facing the Blank Page: Writer's Forum
So nice to hear from you. Keep on writing. Being passionate makes life so much better. Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
Thank you for the invitation to sit in on this class, you asked a couple of questions that have been marinating in my thoughts and today I received some clarity one of the questions you asked were "what are you working on right now?" I thought the answer was nothing because I have tried to sit down and write a book & I keep getting that same response, which is clear and lead me into a short inquiry into the ancient art of scribing. I wonder has this art transformed into ghostwriting? Today, I realized that's not entirely true; I have been working on something, it's not a book per se, but it is a writing project! It's been a long writing project as I look at my document file and external hard drives And the file boxes that take up a good majority of my closet. It's been blood, sweat and tears, cost me a fortune in money & time. I have been woken in the wee early mornings and drive right to the computer to write or research, it has had an impact on my relationships, on my destiny, on my priorities and it had been out of a fierce diving passion that is within me, everything that you have and I've heard, Marianne, describe about writing a book. So why do I or why have I thought it is unimportant or not as important as writing something else. Wow...hmm...thank you, Andrea, for both the experience of the class and the illumed questions?
