Thank you.

I have heard people say (derisively) that for republicans, cruelty is not a flaw, it's the point. They are taught to hate and they are looking for a way to express it. I do not want to focus on that but I would like to suggest that we proclaim that for democrats, the kindness is the point.

Money is best used for kindness, not meanness. It will bring more happiness when used that way than any "stuff" that that we selfishly compete for ever could us. We need to recover the haters, not defeat them. Let them know that they are welcome and loved and cherished and we feel their pain but we suggest a way that might work better to escape it. Hating the haters will not make the world a better place; no matter how right we are about their danger. If we want to be attractive to hateful people we have to be successful at finding genuine happiness and joy. It is possible. Despite mistreatment, I believe that Jesus was truly filled with joy that could not be shaken by appearances. (no, christians do not have a monopoly on it)

I couldn't agree more. I'm stepping into joy and light. I believe most people want the same things. They may have different opinions on how to get there. We do have more in common with one another. It's time to embrace that.
