If we took as much time celebrating our wins as we do grieving our losses, life would be a much more rewarding place

I don't know, I get so tired of all the celebrations on Facebook, the endless, endless smiles, congratulatory comments, thumbs up, glam photos, etc. It feels like propping up the fragile beings. I begin to yearn for more substance. I want to know WHAT YOU THINK, and what you are doing to SOLVE PROBLEMS. Show me how you canned those beans, fixed that toilet, entertained the kids, knitted a shawl, economized, or why you support a particular policy. Be substantive. Share helpful tips I can use to improve my own life. Enjoy your intelligence, whether you succeed or make a mistake you hope others don't make.
May I offer an alternative? Breaking the debilitating framing of experiences as wins and losses and just fully appreciating the experiences without judgment would make life an infinitely more rewarding place.
