There wasn’t any deterrent from me receiving my first vaccine. Since I had already gotten Covid in September of 2019. I wasn’t alone. It turned out several of my neighbors had also gotten it. Since no one knew what is was, we were all told it was the flu. I never had a flu with the impact Covid took over my body. I’d call emergency triage at Kaiser & explain my symptoms to the nurses. No one had any answers. I really thought I had some form of cancer permeating every system in my body.

It wasn’t to the new year I was able to see my GP & explained my condition. He concurred with me and shared many physicians had also been ill with the same symptoms. We concluded Covid had been here earlier than suggested.

Move forward to this day, I’m about to receive my second booster. I’m a senior married to senior. We still wear our masks & there is no reason for us to take a chance of becoming or exposing the other with illness. I actually enjoy my mask, it helps if you have allergies.

So for us, Covid isn’t over. If you’re really interested in listening to the professionals who dealing with diseases around the world, the WHO is the informative source available. And they just announced today that there is no longer in emergency Covid globally pandemic. There is still a pandemic, but not at the levels we experienced.
